Hunting Rates

Please see our hunting page for a description of these hunts. Hunting packages do not include license fees, meat processing, or taxidermy costs. All prices are per person and for two-on-one guided hunts (i.e., one guide, two hunters). Please contact us about the possibility and cost of adding days, one-on-one hunts, or tailoring a hunt to meet your needs.

All big game licenses listed below are awarded through a special drawing


Non-Resident License Information:For more information on licenses or to purchase licenses on-line, please go to the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks web site (http://fwp.mt.gov/)

Big Game Combination License: $1,442 (includes Elk, Deer A, Upland Bird, Fishing, and Conservation License). Applications available online March 1st with and April 1st deadline.

Elk Combination License: $1,248 (includes Elk, Upland Bird, Fishing, and Conservation License). Applications available online March 1st with and April 1st deadline.

Deer Combination License: $924 (includes Deer A, Upland Bird, Fishing, and Conservation License). Applications available online March 1st with and April 1st deadline.

**Note: *Pricing for three (3) Non-Resident Elk and Deer Licenses above include two (2) Preference Points**

Non-Resident Antelope: $205. Applications available in March 1st on-line with a June 1st deadline.

Conservation License: $10 (Prerequisite for any hunting license in the state of Montana).

Bow and Arrow License: $10 (Needed for any archery hunting done in the state of Montana).

Base Hunting License: $15. This is an annual fee charged when a hunter purchases their first hunting license each year.

Preference Point: $100 used for non-resident deer and elk combination licenses (two are included in the non-resident Elk and Deer licenses above).

Bonus Point: $20 for non-residents; $2 for residents used for Antelope, Moose, Big Horn Sheep, Elk B licenses, etc.

Deposits and Cancellation Policy

    Hunting Trips: A hunt is not booked until a deposit is received. A 50% deposit is required once a license is drawn. Final payments are due September 1st. There will be no refunds once a payment is made.

    Antelope only hunters are required to make the full hunt payment once a license is drawn.

    Hunters are encouraged to obtain trip insurance.  Why? These insurance plans provide you with insurance coverage for your travel investment if unforeseen weather conditions cause a delay or cancellation of your trip. 

    We strongly recommend you consider Traveler’s Insurance which is available through the MOGA website.

    Please note your own Client Responsibilities: All clients will be required to follow the safety policies and procedures of Walker Outfitting, LLC ("W.O.") and its guides/staff. All clients will be required to sign a Participant Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement for Hunting Services in favor of W.O. upon their arrival.

    Hunter Note: A wounded animal that is not retrieved will be considered a killed animal; due to both our management practices as well as the established quotas on our leases.
